- Must be able to understand the vision of the project at a high level, and be able to develop and implement a maintainable, flexible, and extendable backend of the platform/product.
- Must be willing to work closely with the Product Owner, UI/UX Lead, and Frontend Lead to bring platform functionality to life.
- Go-to person for backend-related needs.
- Be willing to assist Jr. Backend Developers in understanding their role and deliverables.
- Be willing to assist with code reviews and Pull Requests related to backend work.
- Lead roles will probably require at least 10 hours per week to be effective, however, this could be more or less based on experience, organization, and communication ability.

In this project, you'll be helping develop the backend systems to allow our platform to make a huge impact! We'll be using Strapi which is a headless CMS that will help us develop at rapid speeds! We'll also be using other modern web technologies such as node js, PostgreSQL, Docker and using REST API principles to develop the backend.

We'll have weekly meetings where we meet with the front-end team to discuss the platform's direction and status and have a special backend-focused meeting where you can get one-on-one help.

This is a new team to build out our project management platform. We will start with building out Zenhub integration for managing our internal projects. From that experience, we will expand into building a solution that helps 100s of teams succeed in their projects

- Lead web application development and system integration efforts

- Debug and Fix Production issues
- Assist in requirements gathering and communicating them to other team members
- Perform verification and validation of requirements
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation

We're building a platform that inspires people to build cool software project ideas that will follow the Dev Launchers ethos. This platform will be able to take in ideas from members of Dev Launchers, display these ideas for other users to interact with, and finally allow members to adopt others' ideas. Often people have ideas that they do not have the bandwidth to address. These ideas will be further fleshed out by engaging members of the community. With our idea hub, we can brainstorm better, interact with other members' dream software projects, and build more together!
